About Outset

We've spent years running innovation events. Most of them taught us what not to do.

Between us, we've facilitated over 20 hackathons, innovation labs, and leadership off-sites — inside large organisations, across EU-funded acceleration programmes, and with multinational teams throughout Europe. The formats changed. The outcomes often didn't.

Teams would show up, put in real work, leave energised. Two weeks later, nothing had changed. The problem was never the people. It was the design: passive agendas, vague briefs, no one owning follow-up. Events optimised for experience, not output.

Outset is what we built to fix that. Every event starts with a specific outcome in mind. Every session is actively facilitated. And every team leaves with something concrete — not just a good memory.

What we believe

Three things we've never compromised on

01

Outcomes over experience

A great event isn't one where people had fun. It's one where something actually changed. We design every session around a specific output — and we hold the process accountable to it.

02

Facilitation is a craft

Managing energy, redistributing airtime, knowing when to slow down and when to push — these are learnable skills that make the difference between a session that works and one that doesn't. We've spent years developing them.

03

Your team already has the answers

Our job isn't to bring ideas. It's to create the conditions where your team finds ideas it didn't know it had. The best outputs from our sessions surprise the people who generated them.

Eraldo Federico Acchiappati

Eraldo spent over a decade leading innovation projects across Europe. He managed a large-scale SME acceleration programme for the European Commission, then built and ran the innovation team at PwC Luxembourg — designing workshops, hackathons, and strategy off-sites for some of the country's largest organisations. He brings process rigour and a precise understanding of what leadership teams actually need from a facilitated session.
